Park BSH-4 Bladed Spoke Holder
Holds bladed spokes in place while making tension adjustments, making it a valuable tool for truing and building wheels.
The BSH-4 sits in the drawer we open every day. Park Tool design and manufacture it in Minnesota; ProWheelBuilder is an independent wheel builder in Georgia and a Park stockist, not the manufacturer.
What it does
Bladed and round spokes both wind up as you tension them, and a wound spoke unwinds later and takes the truth with it. Holding the spoke while the nipple turns is the only way to tension that wheel properly.
What Park say about it
- Designed to hold bladed spokes while tightening the nipples
- Four different sized slots to fit a variety of bladed spokes

About this listing
This listing is the BSH-4 by itself. Tool orders are packed and posted separately from wheel builds.
How we use it at ProWheelBuilder
We sell the tools we work with. If a tool is on this site, someone here has used it on a customer wheel. Tell us what you are working on and we will confirm the BSH-4 is the right call before you buy it.
Park have been making these in Minnesota since 1963 and publish repair documentation for them, which is the practical reason shops standardize on Park: the tool you buy now still matches the instructions in five years.

Warranty
Park's warranty. Most Park Tool products carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship. Pumps, stools, torque wrenches, electronic tools, motors and power supplies are covered for one year. Normal wear, misuse and damage from improper use are excluded.
ProWheelBuilder. ProWheelBuilder's one-year wheel warranty covers the wheels we build and does not apply to tools and accessories, which carry their manufacturer's cover.
Full terms are on our Policies & Warranty page.
BSH-4 questions
Do you ship tools on their own?
Yes. Tools and accessories ship by themselves; only wheel components get built into wheels here.
Is this the right one for my wheels?
Tell us what you are working on and we will tell you straight. A spoke holder has to fit the part exactly; the wrong size does damage rather than work.
Not sure? Text or leave a voicemail on 470-253-0929 or email info@prowheelbuilder.com — you will be talking to the people who build the wheels.
