Park SW-12 Double-Ended Spoke Wrench - Mavic 7-Spline
The SW-12 is a double-ended spoke wrench designed for the unique splined spoke nipples found on some Mavic wheels.
The SW-12 is a tool we reach for, not one we simply resell. Park Tool design and manufacture it in Minnesota; ProWheelBuilder is an independent wheel builder in Georgia and a Park stockist, not the manufacturer.
What it does
A spoke wrench that fits properly is the cheapest insurance in wheelbuilding. A loose fit rounds the nipple, and a rounded nipple on a tensioned wheel means cutting the spoke out and rebuilding that section.

About this listing
This listing is the SW-12 by itself. Tool orders are packed and posted separately from wheel builds.
How we use it at ProWheelBuilder
We sell the tools we work with. If a tool is on this site, someone here has used it on a customer wheel. Tell us what you are working on and we will confirm the SW-12 is the right call before you buy it.
Park have been making these in Minnesota since 1963 and publish repair documentation for them, which is the practical reason shops standardize on Park: the tool you buy now still matches the instructions in five years.

Warranty
Park's warranty. Most Park Tool products carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship. Pumps, stools, torque wrenches, electronic tools, motors and power supplies are covered for one year. Normal wear, misuse and damage from improper use are excluded.
ProWheelBuilder. Our own one-year warranty is a wheel warranty - it covers wheels we build, not tools or accessories. This item is covered by its manufacturer, as set out above.
Full terms are on our Policies & Warranty page.
SW-12 questions
Do you ship tools on their own?
Yes. Tools and accessories ship by themselves; only wheel components get built into wheels here.
Is this the right one for my wheels?
Tell us what you are working on and we will tell you straight. A spoke wrench has to fit the part exactly; the wrong size does damage rather than work.
Not sure? Text or leave a voicemail on 470-253-0929 or email info@prowheelbuilder.com — you will be talking to the people who build the wheels.
