Whether your wheel was the victim of a mishap or has simply given all it can, we can fix it — or just freshen it up. Wheel Repair & Service Options
- Rim replacement — replace a damaged or worn rim with the same model, or upgrade to a new rim while retaining your existing hub when compatible.
- Hub replacement — upgrade or replace your hub while keeping a rim that is still in good condition. We will determine the correct spoke length and rebuild the wheel to our standards.
- Spoke replacement — replacement of broken, damaged, or fatigued spokes using the correct straight-pull or J-bend spoke type and length for your wheel.
- Complete re-spoke — replace the full spoke and nipple set when spokes are damaged, corroded, fatigued, or when converting to a different rim or hub.
- Hub service & rebuilds — inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of serviceable hub components as needed.
- Bearing replacement & upgrades — replace worn or rough bearings with manufacturer-spec replacements, or upgraded bearing options when available.
- Freehub service & replacement — diagnose and service freehub bodies, pawls, ratchets, springs, and related components, or replace the freehub body when necessary.
- Wheel truing & tensioning — correct lateral and radial runout, balance spoke tension, stress-relieve the wheel, and re-check alignment to bring the wheel back to ProWheelBuilder standards.
- Wheel inspection & diagnosis — complete evaluation of the rim, hub, spokes, nipples, bearings, and overall wheel condition to identify the cause of noise, looseness, damage, or poor performance.
- Wheel rebuilds — complete disassembly and rebuilding of an existing wheel using new or reusable components, depending on condition and compatibility.

Factory Wheel Repair & Rebuilds
In many cases, we can repair or rebuild factory-built wheelsets in addition to the custom wheels we build. However, not every factory wheel is serviceable. Some factory wheels use proprietary spokes, nipples, rims, hubs, or other components that may no longer be available, or that require manufacturer-specific parts and procedures. Before accepting a repair, we will review the wheel and determine whether it can be serviced properly and safely.
When contacting us for a repair or rebuild, please provide the year, manufacturer, and model of the wheel whenever possible. Photos are also helpful and can allow us to determine available repair options before the wheel is sent to us.
If you are unsure whether your wheel can be repaired, please contact us. If the necessary parts are available and the wheel can be serviced to our standards, there is a good chance we can help.
The factory wheelsets we service most often come from Mavic, Campagnolo, Fulcrum, Easton, VeloMax, Stan’s NoTubes, Bontrager (non paired-spoke), and DT Swiss.

- Do not send money in the mail. We'll bill you or collect payment when the work is done.
- Lead time runs from 3 days to 3 weeks depending on workload and parts availability — text or email us first if you're on a deadline and we'll tell you honestly where we stand.
Building With Your Own Rim or Hub
If you would like us to build a wheel using a rim or hub you already own, please begin through our Custom Wheel Program. When you reach the rim or hub selection, choose the Supply Own Product option. Our system will then guide you through a few questions about the component you will be sending us, and prompt you to select the appropriate spokes and nipples for your build.
Once your wheel configuration is complete, add the build to your cart and check out. Please print a copy of your order confirmation or invoice and include it in the package with your parts. Completing your order in advance will reserve your build spot and help us process your components as quickly as possible once they arrive.
