Cannondale Lefty Truing Adapter
A Lefty front wheel has no axle in the usual sense. Cannondale's single-sided fork carries the wheel on a hub that bolts to one side only, which is elegant on the bike and useless in a truing stand, because a stand grips an axle at two ends. This adapter gives it something to grip.
What it does
Without it you are left truing the wheel in the fork, against the brake pads or a cable tie, which is how a wheel ends up true relative to a fork that is itself not quite straight. A stand references the wheel against itself, which is the only way to build or true one properly.
Aluminum, and a tool rather than a bike part - it lives in the workshop, not on the bike. If you own one Lefty wheel you will use it rarely and be very glad of it on the day.

Can I true a Lefty wheel without this?
Only badly. You can do it in the fork against the pads, but you are then truing it relative to the fork rather than to itself.
Will it fit my truing stand?
It is made to be held in a standard stand. Tell us which stand you run if you want it checked.
Can you just true my Lefty wheel for me?
Yes - send it to us. We have the adapter on the bench.
