DT Swiss 350 2021 + Front Black ISO 6 Bolt Disc Hub
If we had to pick one hub to build every wheel on for the rest of our careers, the 350 would be on the shortlist and would probably win. The 350 is not the lightest hub DT Swiss makes and it is not the flashiest. It is the one that keeps coming back to the shop only because the customer wants a new rim laced to it.
This page covers the 2021-and-later DT Swiss 350 2021 + Front Black ISO 6 Bolt Disc Hub.
We sell the 350 only inside a wheel we build. Choose the rim, spokes and nipples in the configurator and the finished 350 wheel ships from our shop in Georgia, laced, tensioned and trued by hand.
Design and construction
The 350 hubshell is a milled aluminum body on a lightweight axle with sealed cartridge bearings. On the 2021+ DT 350 the axle is stiffer than the old version and the end caps are the plug-in type, so the same 350 hub converts between quick release and thru-axle standards with a cap change. The flange spacing is classic DT, which means every spoke calculator on earth knows the 350 and the wheel builds true first time.
Because the front 350 has no freehub, it is the hub that asks for the least: a spin of the axle to check the bearings once a season and nothing else. The flanges, bearings and seals are the same as the rear's, the axle converts between the front standards with end caps, and the rotor mounts the same way. Choose it to match a rear of the same model, or on its own for a fork that needs a new front wheel.
How it rides
A DT 350 does not draw attention to itself, which is exactly what you want from a hub.
For most riders the 350 is the right trade.
On the road or the trail the front hub's job is to disappear: spin freely, keep water out, and hold the flanges still so the wheel tracks where you point it. The front 350 does that with the same bearings and seals as the rear and none of the rear's complexity, and because a front wheel carries less load and no torque it stays true longer than the rear on the same rim. When the rear finally needs a look, the front usually does not.

This listing
This is the 6-bolt version: QR 5x100mm, Thru Axle 12x100mm, Thru Axle 15x100mm, Thru Axle 15x110mm Boost and more, 28h, 32h drilling, about 164g, in black. Same internals and flanges as every other 350; only the mount and axle differ.
Six-bolt is the original disc mount and still the most universal: any ISO 6-bolt rotor from any brand bolts straight on, rotors are cheap and easy to find anywhere, and the six-bolt flange is a robust, simple interface that has been on mountain bikes for twenty-five years. Centerlock rotors do not fit it.
Sizes, fit and compatibility
The DT Swiss 350 2021 + Front Black ISO 6 Bolt Disc Hub comes in the drillings listed on this page and in the axle and rotor options shown in the configurator: centerlock disc, 6-bolt disc or rim brake, road and MTB spacings including Boost.
The 350 is a J-bend hub, which opens up every spoke we stock. We build the 350 onto DT Swiss rims, Stan's, WTB, Race Face, HED, Velocity and most carbon rims in the catalog. Tell the configurator your bike type and weight and it will suggest a spoke count that suits the drilling you pick.
Build it with us
We build this hub to order. Open the Custom Wheel Program with the DT Swiss 350 2021 + Front Black ISO 6 Bolt Disc Hub already selected and pick the parts around it; it is offered for gravel and road disc, track and road single-speed, mountain bike, MTB single-speed and fat bike builds, and the configurator will not let you assemble a combination we would not build.
What DT Swiss says about testing
DT Swiss hubs pass through the same Performance Test Center in Biel as its rims. DT Swiss states that its laboratory tests replicate what products endure in the field over the whole product life cycle, under an internal factory standard that ensures compliance with ISO 4210. DT Swiss publishes no bearing-life, salt-spray or water-ingress figures.
DT Swiss fits industrial ball bearings to all its hubs and describes them as easy to replace. It recommends cleaning and re-greasing hubs every 12 months in normal use and every 3 months in extreme conditions (regular riding in dust, rain or snow, or frequent transport in the rain). The warranty is 24 months from purchase against material and manufacturing defects; ball bearings are wear parts and excluded.

Certifications
- ISO 4210 / ASTM F 2043 — DT Swiss states its internal factory standard 'ensures compliance with the current international standards (e.g. ISO 4210)' and sets test parameters by ASTM F 2043 riding conditions (self-declared, no certificate published) (source)
- Warranty — 24 months legal warranty against material and manufacturing defects; ball bearings are wear parts and excluded (source)
- Service interval — Clean and re-grease every 12 months (normal use) or every 3 months (extreme conditions) (source)

Building it at ProWheelBuilder
DT makes the 350 in Switzerland and Poland; ProWheelBuilder is an independent custom wheel builder in Georgia, not the manufacturer. We have built enough DT 350 wheels to know its flange dimensions by heart, but we still cut spokes from the measured geometry of the rim in hand and bring every wheel up in stages with a tension gauge before truing and stress-relieving it.
In the configurator you will only see parts that fit this drilling; combinations that are not made are struck through, and the price updates as you pick.
Warranty
DT Swiss's warranty. DT Swiss covers its products against material and manufacturing defects for 24 months from purchase, excluding wear parts such as bearings and tubeless tape. Carbon rims and carbon wheels bought new since 1 January 2020 carry an extended guarantee to the first owner against defects in material and workmanship, and DT Swiss runs a paid crash-replacement scheme on carbon wheels for up to ten years from purchase.
ProWheelBuilder. If we lace this into a wheel for you, that wheel also carries ProWheelBuilder's own one-year warranty, which covers broken spokes regardless of cause and all wheel-related labor, including truing and rebuilding, for a year from purchase. Where a rim or hub is covered by its maker, we make the manufacturer's claim for you and coordinate it; where it is not, we offer an eligible replacement rim or hub at 25% off current retail. Shipping to and from us is the customer's. This cover does not extend to wheels built from components you supply yourself.

350 2021 + Front Black ISO 6 Bolt Disc Hub questions
Will my rotors fit this hub?
This is the 6-bolt version: any ISO 6-bolt rotor bolts straight on with six T25 bolts, which is still the most common and the easiest rotor to replace anywhere. Centerlock rotors do not fit it - for those, take the centerlock version of the same hub, listed separately.
Which axle spacing does it fit?
QR 5x100mm Front or Thru Axle 12x100mm Front or Thru Axle 15x100mm Front or Thru Axle 15x110mm Boost Front or Thru Axle 20x110mm Front or Thru Axle 20x110mm Boost Front or Thru Axle 12x110mm Boost Front. Measure between the inside faces of your dropouts if you are unsure, or text us.
Does it need special spokes?
No. It takes standard J-bend spokes, which the configurator offers in every gauge and finish we stock.
How long will the wheel take?
Build time comes down to parts availability rather than bench time. The estimated ship date is shown in the configurator before you check out.
