ENVE Composites AM30 Disc Brake Rim
The ENVE Composites AM30 Disc Brake Rim is a carbon fiber disc tubeless rim for custom wheel builds. ENVE Composites designs and manufactures the rim; ProWheelBuilder is an independent custom wheel builder in Georgia, not the manufacturer. We build it into a complete wheel: choose the hub, spokes, nipples and lacing in the configurator and it ships laced, tensioned and trued by hand.

Material and weight
A carbon fiber rim, listed by ENVE Composites at 510g in 700c/29in, 470g in 650b/27.5in. Rim weight is rotating weight at the outside of the wheel, so it is felt more than the same grams on the frame. A 30mm inner width supports wide tyres at low pressure and gives them a stable, rounded profile.
Value
Every ENVE Composites rim we sell is built into a wheel here: we cut spokes to the measured ERD of the exact size, lace it to the hub you choose, tension and true it by hand and stand behind the build. The current per-size price is always shown live in the configurator.
How we build it
Pick the wheel size (29in, 27.5in), then a drilling (28h), and the configurator only offers hubs, spokes and lacing patterns that can be built with that combination. Sizes or drillings not made are struck through rather than hidden. Start from this rim in the Custom Wheel Program, or send us a rim you already own with the supply-your-own option.
Warranty
ENVE Composites's warranty. ENVE gives the original owner a five-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, alongside its Lifetime Incident Protection program, which covers rims, forks, bars, stems, seatposts and hubs damaged in riding incidents.
ProWheelBuilder. Wheels we build around this part are covered by our own one-year warranty alongside the maker's. Within the year: broken spokes replaced regardless of cause, and the labor on the wheel - truing, re-tensioning or a complete rebuild - included. A manufacturer-covered rim or hub failure is a claim we make and manage for you; one they will not cover is answered with an eligible replacement at 25% off retail. Shipping each way is yours. Parts you supply yourself fall outside it.

Is ProWheelBuilder the manufacturer of the ENVE Composites AM30 Disc Brake Rim?
No. ENVE Composites makes the rim. ProWheelBuilder is an independent custom wheel builder in Georgia: we buy the rim from ENVE Composites and build it into a finished wheel to your spec.
Is it tubeless-ready?
Yes. ENVE Composites lists the AM30 Disc Brake Rim as clincher tubeless compatible; we tape and fit a valve when you choose the tubeless option.
Which spoke count should I choose?
It depends on your weight, terrain and the hub, not the rim alone. The configurator recommends a count from your bike type and rider weight, within the drillings this rim is made in.
How long will the wheel take?
Build time comes down to parts availability rather than bench time. The estimated ship date is shown in the configurator before you check out.
