Nextie Premium ARX-W carbon wheelset
A complete wheelset built around the Premium ARX-W rim. Nextie laces a pair of Premium ARX-W rims to its own Rollingstar II Road or Rollingstar III Road hubs with Sapim spokes and black alloy nipples, in 3 sizes (35-65mm deep), tensions and trues both wheels in its Xiamen factory and ships the pair complete.
ProWheelBuilder is an independent wheel builder in Georgia and a Nextie dealer, not the manufacturer: we sell the wheelset and check your axle, freehub and size choices before the order goes in.
Building your pair
Every Nextie Premium ARX-W wheelset is sold as a front and rear pair, and the two wheels do not have to match. Pick the front depth and the rear depth separately: a shallower front for crosswinds with a deeper rear for speed is the common choice, and a matched pair is one click. The front is never deeper than the rear, so a deeper front with a shallower rear is not built. The rear follows the front until you choose a different one. Both wheels share the hub set, so they share the drilling; a depth that is not made in the drilling you picked is struck through.
Sizes, wheelset weights and prices
Wheelset weight is the complete pair as built: both rims, spokes, nipples and the hub set, from the lightest spoke and hub choice to the heaviest. Prices are for a matched pair on the least expensive hub; mixed front and rear pairs are priced from the two rims you choose.

The rim
The ARX-W puts Nextie's wave edge on the widest road bed it makes: a 25mm inner width for 30mm road tires up to light gravel tires, with an undulating outer edge that keeps a deep section steady in crosswinds. Three depths, 35, 45 and 65mm, from 350 grams.
Premium is Nextie's balanced edition: a T700 and high-modulus T800 carbon mix, an independent spoke-bed mold for consistent spoke-hole thickness, roundness and flatness within 0.20mm, and a 3-year factory warranty - stiffness, deflection control and weight in balance. The ARX-W sizes do not carry their own UCI certificate; Nextie's first approval, the NXT45RC (September 2021), came from the same Premium road program. Nextie rates these rims for a maximum system weight of 139 to 154 kg (rider plus bike and gear). The Nextie Premium ARX-W rim page carries Nextie's published lab results, test videos and certificates in full.
Hubs, spokes and drive

Ordering and lead time
Nextie builds each wheelset to order in Xiamen, so allow roughly two weeks for the build plus transit. The price at the top of the page is the complete wheelset as configured. Want a single wheel, a different hub, other spokes, or a wheel laced here in Georgia? Build it in the Custom Wheel Program, which opens with the Nextie Premium ARX-W rim already selected.
Warranty
Manufacturer's warranty. Nextie warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship. The duration, conditions and claim process are set by Nextie and can change without notice, so ask us and we will confirm the current terms before you buy.
ProWheelBuilder. Because this wheelset comes assembled from its maker, the warranty that applies is theirs, set out above; ProWheelBuilder's one-year wheel warranty is for wheels we build here. Either way, a claim goes through us and we will manage it.

Nextie Premium ARX-W wheelset questions
What does the -W wave edge do?
The outer edge of the rim undulates instead of running in a straight line. Nextie designs it to break up the airflow that makes a deep rim push sideways in a crosswind, so a 45 or 65mm rim steers more calmly on gusty days. The bed and tire fit are the same as a plain rim of the same width.
Can I run a different depth front and rear on the Nextie Premium ARX-W wheelset?
Yes. Pick the front and rear size separately; the price is the two rims you chose plus the build, and a matched pair costs exactly what it always has. Both wheels share one drilling because they share the hub set.
Can I buy one Premium ARX-W wheel on its own?
Not from this page: the factory-built wheelset is sold as a pair. A single front or rear wheel on this rim can be built in the Custom Wheel Program.
Which hub should I choose?
Rollingstar II is the value choice; Rollingstar III is the lighter hub set, about 60 grams lighter for the pair. Each hub is drilled one way, so the drilling and the hub are chosen together.
Is ProWheelBuilder the manufacturer of the Nextie Premium ARX-W?
No. Nextie designs and manufactures the rims and hubs and builds this wheelset in Xiamen. ProWheelBuilder is an independent wheel builder in Georgia and a Nextie dealer: we sell it, check your choices before the order goes in and handle any warranty claim.
