Stan's No Tubes Sealing Tape 25mm x 10 Yards
The 25mm roll of Stan's sealing tape, for wider rims. Modern mountain and plenty of gravel rims have internal widths that a narrow tape simply cannot cover, and a spoke bed that is not fully covered will leak no matter how much sealant goes in after it.
What it does
The failure this prevents is a slow, maddening one. A rim taped slightly too narrow often holds air on the bench and then goes down over a day or two, because air is escaping past the tape edge rather than through anything you can find. People chase that with more sealant, more pressure and new valves before checking the tape.
Laying it well matters as much as the width: start opposite the valve hole, keep constant tension so it beds into the channel rather than bridging it, and overlap the start by a few inches at the end. Air follows any wrinkle you leave behind.
The valve hole is pierced afterwards, from the inside, small - the valve grommet does the sealing, and a hole cut generously gives it nothing to seal against.
Fit and compatibility
For rims with a wider internal width - most current mountain rims and the broader gravel ones. Measure the spoke bed before choosing. Narrower rims take the 21mm.

Warranty
Stan's No Tubes's warranty. Stan's covers aluminum rims for two years against manufacturing defects. Registered carbon wheelsets carry seven years of warranty cover plus lifetime crash replacement, and registration must be completed before a wheelset claim can be made. Crash damage, abuse and normal wear are not warranty items.

Which width do I need?
Measure the rim's internal width. The tape should cover the bed and reach the bead seats without riding into them. If you are unsure, send us the rim model.
My tire holds air overnight then goes flat. Is it the tape?
Very often, yes - that pattern usually means air is creeping past a tape edge or a wrinkle rather than through a puncture. Re-tape before buying anything else.
Do you tape wheels you build?
Yes, as part of the build, with the width matched to the rim.
