Stan's No Tubes Tire Sealant 32oz
The 32oz bottle of Stan's sealant, which is the size to buy when tubeless has stopped being an experiment and become how all your bikes are set up. It does the same job as the smaller bottle - coating the tire so punctures seal themselves as they happen - in a quantity that suits a workshop shelf rather than a saddlebag.
What it does
Buying the larger bottle is mostly about the top-ups rather than the initial fill. Setting a wheel up tubeless uses sealant once; keeping it working uses sealant several times a year, and running out mid-season is how wheels end up riding dry without anyone deciding they should.
Shake it properly before every pour. The sealing particles are suspended rather than dissolved, and they settle; pouring off the top of a bottle that has stood for a month gives you most of the liquid and little of what actually does the plugging.
Stored sensibly - sealed, out of the heat - it keeps. Stored with the cap loose it thickens, which is the usual reason a half-used bottle gets thrown away.
Fit and compatibility
For tubeless-ready tires on properly taped rims. The volume per tire varies with tire size; a wide mountain tire takes considerably more than a road one.

Warranty
Stan's No Tubes's warranty. Stan's covers aluminum rims for two years against manufacturing defects. Registered carbon wheelsets carry seven years of warranty cover plus lifetime crash replacement, and registration must be completed before a wheelset claim can be made. Crash damage, abuse and normal wear are not warranty items.
ProWheelBuilder. ProWheelBuilder's one-year wheel warranty covers the wheels we build and does not apply to tools and accessories, which carry their manufacturer's cover.

Stan's tire sealant 32oz questions
Is this the same sealant as the 16oz?
Yes - the same product in a larger bottle. Buy the size that matches how much you will use before it ages.
How do I know when a tire needs topping up?
Shake the wheel and listen. Liquid moving inside means it is still working; silence means it has dried and the tire is unprotected.
Can I add it through the valve?
With a removable valve core, yes - that is one of the reasons to run valves that have one. Otherwise the tire has to come partly off the rim.
