Hope Skewer Set
Hope's skewer set, sold as a pair - front and rear together rather than separately. Hope make them the way they make everything: machined in-house in Barnoldswick, anodized in their own colors, and built to be rebuildable rather than disposable.
What it does
A skewer is a part most riders never think about until one fails or seizes, and then it is the only thing they think about. A stainless shaft with a well-machined cam does the job quietly for years, which is all you want from it.
The five anodized colors are Hope's signature and the usual reason people buy the set. If you are running Hope hubs, matching the skewers is the obvious finishing touch; if you are not, they are still one of the few ways to put a deliberate accent color on a build.
Buying the set rather than two singles means the pair match - same batch, same anodising - which is not guaranteed when colors are ordered months apart.
Fit and compatibility
For standard quick-release front and rear hubs. Thru-axle frames need axles rather than skewers. If you are having Hope-hubbed wheels built here, tell us the color and we will match them.

ProWheelBuilder builds wheels in Georgia and is not the manufacturer - Hope makes this. It is on our bench most days, which is where the notes above come from.
Warranty
Manufacturer's warranty. Hope warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship. The duration, conditions and claim process are set by Hope and can change without notice, so ask us and we will confirm the current terms before you buy.
ProWheelBuilder. Tools and accessories sit outside ProWheelBuilder's one-year wheel warranty, which applies to the wheels we lace. Cover for this item is the manufacturer's.

Is this a pair?
Yes - front and rear together, which is why it is listed as a set.
Will they match my Hope hubs?
They are Hope's own anodized colors, so they are as close as it gets. Tell us the hub color and we will confirm.
Quick release or thru axle?
These are quick-release skewers. A thru-axle frame takes an axle instead.
Is ProWheelBuilder the manufacturer of the Hope Skewer Set?
No. Hope designs and manufactures it. ProWheelBuilder is an independent wheel builder in Georgia that stocks it and uses it on the wheels we build.
