White Industries Campagnolo TI Cassette Driver Body

The titanium Campagnolo driver body for White Industries rear hubs. Campagnolo's cassette spline has its own geometry and its own sprocket spacing, and it has stayed recognisably itself across 9-, 10-, 11- and 12-speed groupsets - which is why a single driver body covers that whole span.

Design and construction

Campagnolo's spline is finer and more numerous than Shimano's, and the individual lands are correspondingly narrower. On an aluminum body that shows up as sprocket bite surprisingly early, especially on a bike ridden hard in the lower gears. Titanium is the sensible answer for a rider who intends to keep the wheel for a long time and change cassettes several times over its life.

Doug White started the company in 1978 and it still machines everything in Petaluma, California, in its own shop. Nothing here is a bought-in blank with a logo on it - the part goes from bar stock to finished component under one roof, which is why spares for things White Industries sold years ago are usually still available.

Fit and compatibility

White Industries list it as driver type Campy 9-12 Speed, part DRIVER15TC, about 85g. It takes Campagnolo's 9- through 12-speed cassettes. Campagnolo's 13-speed Ekar groupset uses the newer N3W interface and needs the N3W driver body instead.

Campagnolo TI cassette driver body questions

Will this take an Ekar cassette?

No - Ekar uses Campagnolo's N3W interface, which is a different and smaller standard. We stock the N3W driver body separately.

Does one body really cover 9 through 12 speed?

For this interface, yes. Campagnolo kept the cassette spline consistent across those generations, so the driver body is not what changes when you move between them.

Will this fit my White Industries hub?

It fits the White Industries rear hubs built around their 15mm driver interface, which covers the current freehub-equipped models. If you are unsure which driver your hub already has, send us the hub and we will tell you, or text us and describe it.

Can I change driver standards later?

That is the point of a replaceable driver body. Changing drivetrain brand or speed count does not mean a new hub - it means a new driver body, which is a workshop job of minutes rather than a rebuild.

Is ProWheelBuilder the manufacturer of the White Industries Campagnolo TI Cassette Driver Body?

No. White Industries designs and manufactures it in Petaluma, California. ProWheelBuilder is an independent wheel builder in Georgia that stocks the part and fits it to the wheels we build.
